Secondary Legal Consultation
Helping the Helpers
Did you know that the everyday problems people experience can have a legal aspect?
People living in poverty are more likely to report multiple problems such as bad health, unemployment, low income, poor housing and family breakdown. Halton Community Legal Services also recognizes that sometimes people experiencing problems can find it frustrating and difficult to have to go to multiple service providers to get help.
Halton Community Legal Services’ Legal Secondary Consultation Service is here to help! When you contact us, we can provide legal advice and information directly to health care providers, social service providers, community groups, and volunteers who are already working with clients or patients who have everyday problems and are unsure of how to help solve them. This helps eliminate the need for multiple referrals and can get your clients or patients the help they need faster.
We are available to speak directly with you about any questions or concerns you may have about your client or patient’s situation.
